Not a bad price but the unit I got didn't have a touchscreen

This is a very solid one Windows laptop I bought to facilitate distance learning for my 4th and 6th graders. Based on the product description I thought it would have a touchscreen like my old Asus Chromebook. The one I got didn't have a touchscreen, but I kept it anyway because it felt solid and my kids (oddly) don't use touchscreens and always use keyboard controls. Windows is the same pain in the ass as always, but it works a lot better than my Apple devices or Chromebook in some cases, so it's very handy. For the price this is a great buy. There are a few features. The charger is very odd, unusual, so any other charger you have at home is unlikely to work with it. With the laptop closed and charging, there's no way to confirm it's actually charging without opening it - there's no outside light to indicate it's charging. This really annoys me because we often have outlets that don't work because our switches are so sensitive it can appear like they're charging when they're not.

Pros
  • The HD display has a solid 180 degree hinge that can be placed horizontally to easily share content
Cons
  • No paint required
