This m.2 case is made of smooth, durable, glossy plastic and is cool-to-the-touch. I like its feel and look. I've tried different aluminum, they all feel very hot, but this thick plastic made it pretty bearable. The white LED will flash to let you know when data is being transferred, which is cool. The included USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable is thick, bold, durable and certainly handles high-speed data well, unlike other cheap thin USB-C cables. Basically I am satisfied and can only recommend it.
