Review on ⚙️ Sierra International 18-2321 White Engine Coupler: High-Quality and Reliable by John Murphy

UPDATE: Sierra replaced the clutch for free and the new one is working fine so I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1. Maybe it was just an accident but I would like to reiterate: if you cannot successfully align the motor at ALL rotation angles, DO NOT proceed with the output gear adjustment. The teeth in the middle of the clutch were slightly warped. on arrival but I assumed it would be fine once installed as it is installed in a somewhat flexible rubber grommet. I was wrong. It turns out that the entire outer metal part of the hitch is off center and shaking like crazy causing the whole boat to vibrate. I didn't let it run for more than a few minutes for fear of damaging other parts. Now I have to pull the engine out a SECOND time and replace the clutch with a genuine Mercury part (which I regret I didn't do to begin with). Oh I didn't get the boat back before the 30 day return window either so looks like I lost $190 and my boat is still broken. Not satisfied with Sierra's quality control. Spend your extra money on a genuine part and DO NOT reinstall the downforce unless alignment has been checked at ALL angles! Learn from my rookie mistake!
