I really wanted to fall in love with them, but almost immediately I knew they would return. First, the hollow handles may make them look very cheap. Second, there is no consistency in the form of a stick. The forks (top of pic 3) curve up oddly, making the ends look shockingly sharp and unfinished. Compare this to knives (below in image 3) which have the flattened, rounded cone that forks and spoons MUST have. Thirdly, the coating of many dishes is damaged, some from scratches on the surface (possibly caused by transport) and others from deeper marks on the surface (see pictures 1 and 2). Fourth, the necks of forks and spoons are so thin that they are uncomfortable and uncomfortable to hold. I would call this a novelty and think the high ratings are simply because people like the idea and not the actual quality of the product.
