Well I had a JL Pro Juicer and I sent it back thinking it was poorly constructed. I researched more about juicers and decided I needed a centrifugal juicer and it was the first juicer I found with a waste bin on the back so I bought it. For apples, pears, and harder fruits, you'll need to cut smaller pieces to keep the pusher area stuck. Also, it gets hot when you're juicing hard fruit and should let it cool down a bit. But it's all in the manual. Overall I think this is a good juicer for the price. And if you pay attention to last a long time. If you're looking for a juicer that you can throw whole fruit in, you might want to look into a small branch shredder, as this juicer isn't for you.
