I made a mistake which I think some other reviewers made - I assumed they would work just like any other sticker I've ever used have. nope If you can overcome this idea, you are halfway to its successful implementation. The instructions on the website are pretty clear, but they didn't come with my kit so I played around with them for a while. I went to the website to initiate a return and saw the instructions. Save yourself some time and get it right from the start. Wet the window a little. I just used window cleaner and wiped it off so the window was still damp. Place the chain on the wet area of the window before attempting to remove the backing. After a few seconds, select a corner and remove the backing. MUCH BETTER that way!
