I absolutely love my new steering wheel! I am also very skeptical about buying things from Amazon unless there are many reviews, but I went for it and have no regrets! It was a bit difficult to determine what NORMAL is when it comes to these steering wheel covers. You never need a lid that can be slid open and easily removed. I was able to install it in 5 minutes with a lot of patience and no rush. This was the only case that fit my small 14" handlebar, all the others sold here only fit 15" or larger bars. I ordered size 14.25 and it fits like a glove. If you're worried about rhinestones, let me tell you this: rhinestones won't blind you on a sunny day or get in the way of your driving.
