Review on ๐Ÿ–๏ธ AquaSock: Women's Barefoot Quick Dry Water Sports Shoe for Beach Walking, Swim, Surf, Yoga & Exercise by Mar Pacora

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They'll fall apart eventually, but they're not terrible for the price.

These are inexpensive water shoes that fall apart fairly quickly. I've used mine five or ten times and now they have holes in my fingers. I think it's because I was tiptoeing in a rough bottomed pool. The soles also wear out the protectors. The insoles came loose after a few uses, so I have to put them back in my shoes every now and then while swimming. When I stretch my legs, the insoles come out. A few weeks after ordering, I came across a sale at Costco on Speedo sneaker-like water boots that were reduced from about fifteen to about eight dollars. The Speedo insoles are also a little loose, but overall the shoe is of much better quality and has already outlasted the TECS shoes. I originally chose these because men's shoes tend to be wider than women's shoes and as a woman with slightly wide feet I was pinched by other mail order water shoes. If you're in the same boat, try to keep the two sizes smaller than your usual women's size (e.g. if you normally wear women's shoes in size 8, order men's shoes in size 6). Since I was able to try on the Speedos in the store, I ended up choosing the women's shoes one size larger than my usual size (ie 9 instead of 8).
