I print a lot, a lot, for school. I bought these because they were remanufactured and Ejet claims you can get up to 400 pages per cartridge. OK, I thought. I bought them and installed the first one 2 1/2 months ago. I'm not at school in the summer. I haven't printed nearly 1/3 of what I make for class yet. When I print a few pages, the Canon printer app shows I'm almost out of ink. I may have printed 200 sheets in that time. When I first installed the cartridge it showed up in the printer app with no issues and registered as full. Today, after printing only 3 pages, I'm almost out of ink. In my printer settings the ink saving option is set but it still doesn't work. I think you are right about getting what you pay for. You should not expect new cartridge performance from a new cartridge. Next time I'll just pay extra to get a new cartridge.
