There's a lot to unpack with this touchscreen radio. Firstly, regarding the wiring, it comes with everything you need to hook it up to your 2006-2011 Honda Civic, so no Scosche or Metra parts like most aftermarket decks. Installation is relatively easy, but tedious and requires a lot of nuances to get it right. You need to remove the left side panel (just pull it from the right side, you don't have to remove it completely) and unscrew the 2 screws under the panel through a small compartment in the center console. Pull out the old block, transfer the components and clips, connect the links, slide them back and put the left dash back in place. Now there's a big red flag to be thrown at this deck and installed, and that means the passenger airbag indicator light has no place in this new dash. So when you remove the components to replace the old one with the new one, you must also remove the airbag turn signal fuse, connect it to the green connector and leave the trim. If you don't you'll get an SRS light on the dash saying the airbag sensor is shorted and you can ask the dealer to reset it, but it comes on every time you turn the car on. So it's best to just buckle up and hide in the back. This panel was designed for more base models that didn't have this feature and my 2008 LX Civic had it and it was annoying. There is also no bracket to screw those 2 screws into, so it just snaps into the dash. This really makes it easier to steal and should be taken into account. Also, you must either use the old dashboard clips or buy new ones to add them. The app interface is ok but it's stuck in its path and requires either a 4G SIM card for a network connection or your phone's hotspot to use Google Maps for the GPS function as the GPS interface is im Basic is only your GPS location, not map. We return to the hanging interface. You can move and arrange the app icons however you like, but they will be reset the next time you access the apps. So don't worry because you will only get annoyed. The sound quality is ok, not much better or worse than standard. I think it has slightly more power but can't find any information on performance. Although there are only 20 volume levels, volume adjustment isn't as precise as a standard device. The price of this unit isn't bad for the speed of shipping and returns/guarantees that Revain offers. Although there are similar models on Aliexpress that are 60-70% cheaper. So overall I would say this device gets 3 stars. If you're not looking for a major sound upgrade or a proprietary GPS interface, and are happy with Google Maps tied to your phone, then it's not a bad device, but it does have a lot of niceties that need to be understood before installing it and lots of tech savvy people can do that. I would recommend installing it so you don't have to fiddle with carrying clips and components and risk scratching or cutting your hands.
