I put this on my sofa for the cat to lie on. Much nicer than the towel I used to protect the sofa. It's beautiful, very well made, very soft, made in the USA, matches my cat's coat. Perfect right? My cat wouldn't lie on it! When brought to the nose it has a slight synthetic odor. I washed it, the synthetic smell remained, the cat still rejected it. So I put it on the ottoman so it could absorb my smell. After six weeks, the cat lies down next to my legs. I'll keep washing and using and I think we'll get there eventually.
