I bought these 4 months ago and sewed them onto my dog's harness. The letters started peeling after a few washes. Maybe they don't need to be washed? However, at the same time I bought a Diabetic Alert Patch from the same company and sewed them on and they don't come off. You can see in the photos the diabetic patch is still in great condition compared to this guide dog patch.
