I bought this unit after buying some cheap pens on ebay. These cheap pens really didn't hold up over time, they had issues with weak plastic and poor durability, and were very brittle. But this pen exceeded my expectations! I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra. I really wasn't expecting more than ebay. But this pen is solid! Very well done. Much better than the ones I bought on ebay. I highly recommend this grip if you are looking for a replacement for your truck. Don't forget to spray the entire tailgate with oil as the OEM handle broke due to lack of lubrication. the first place!
