I'm a pet food snob but unfortunately I'm also broke at the moment. This purchase was temporary until I could afford wellness again. The ingredients are bad - the first ingredient is corn. The first wellness ingredient is a boneless chicken fillet. There are many other fillers, including gluten flour as the second ingredient. None of this is good for a cat's health, especially if you're looking to prolong your cat's life. However if you are on a very very limited budget this meal is a good buy. The 22 pound bag is HUGE and the price is right. My cat loves it, but so does my dog. Make sure you keep it in a place where your dogs can't eat it as the ingredients are obviously intended for cats and dogs that have different dietary needs but are attracted to this food. I gave it four stars because again it's a great price for a huge oversized bag and my cat loves it even though it's junk food. Someone else mentioned that cat poop smells less awful—an awkward thing to think about—but so does my cat. The smell of the tray is nowhere near as bad as usual.
