I needed a small speaker for sound amplification on my Revain Fire tablet. The speaker that came with the tablet was so quiet that I couldn't hear the audio in noisy environments. The sound is clear and has a pretty good foundation for something so small. I bought two of these if my wife wanted to use one or I could string them together to increase the sound. Before I bought this little speaker, I bought a Monster wireless mini speaker from a big store and it required RAM for the bluetooth connection. /memory from the tablet and slowed down any video from YouTube or other similar media. So remember this is a WIRED speaker. A NOTICE. This tiny speaker won't give you amazing stereo sound quality. It would be like expecting a miracle from something so small (and it distorts the sound if it's too loud). In addition, the speaker has a very small footprint. But if I needed amazing quality I would buy a boombox product with big speakers to rock with. So keep in mind that this little speaker is not intended for parties or other social occasions. !). It also has a cute little carry case and folds down to reduce the 'profile' during transport. I am very happy with this little speaker!
