This lamp comes with two very long "screws" that actually appear to be thin bolts a few inches long. The instructions don't tell you what size drill bit to use. It comes with plastic parts to hang this lamp on a drywall. It's great if you hang the lamp on drywall. If you try to hang from hardwood, these screws won't cut it. The ends of the included screws are useless and they are too long to go into the wood. If, like me, you're trying to hang this on hardwood, do yourself a favor and only use half-inch screws. I love the lamp but hate the hardware that came with it.
