The small copper sheets inside this item are so badly placed and cheap that when you screw in a lightbulb or adapter, the negative contact either: 1) twists and touches the positive contact, causing short circuit and trips the room circuit breaker, or 2) open circuit. Tired several times to set the contacts unsuccessfully. I bought two (2) of these and both are now broken and unusable.
