When I replaced a full 120GB hard drive with a 250GB hard drive on my old Xbox, I ordered this to make moving data easier (it doesn't copy, it moves data and deletes the copy on the original disk). It's very easy to use and makes the process a lot less painless. You simply plug one end into your new (or old) drive and the other into any USB port on your Xbox. It might not recognize it right away, but after a few seconds it will mention that you have another drive connected to it and ask if you want to copy to or from it. It moved profiles, saves, music, pictures, downloads, etc. from my old 120GB to the new 250GB. However, the installed game files will not be copied. They must be reinstalled on a new drive. Maybe this is a DRM issue? Are the installs coded to only work on the computer you installed them on? I believe it took just under two hours to transfer around 60GB of profiles, demos, downloadable content, etc. to the new HD.
