I think you get what you pay for. Took out an old Kenmore Elite lint filter and compared it to the new one. Talk about weak and cheap!. To make matters worse, when using the new filter, the t-shirt caught on the edge of the new filter and twisted it during the drying process. Obviously the shirt was twisted and completely ruined. The filter is not as tight as it should be. Avoid this manufacturer. I then reordered from a local hardware store and the filter was delivered overnight and I picked it up the next day. The new one was twice the weight of Revain's and fits perfectly. Revain uses cheap parts made in China in many of its offerings. This is one of them. Apparently, Revain goes to great lengths to vet its suppliers.
