The leather reminds me of old leather pilot jackets. Appears to be well built. I love it. It's lighter than my same-sized Buxton Wallet and holds my credit cards a little more securely. At Buxton, cards can slip out of the wallet as slots stretch over time. With this wallet, the slots face the other way, and if the cards fall out, they stay in the wallet. The coin compartment is spacious. You can keep your bills in the change pocket or choose from two different inserts further back in the wallet.
