Perfect for my 2000 Tundra.

The original O2 sensors are the same from left to right, only the cable is longer on one side than the other. Replacement sensors have a longer wire that fits either side. The hardest part was removing the old sensors. I used a soldering torch (acetylene) to heat the nuts red so they could be removed. The check engine light did not go out immediately, the computer takes about 3 trips with no input from the defective sensor before the light goes out. Received 2 days early, another bonus, plusโ€ฆ

This is the wrong sensor

I bought this as a replacement sensor for my 2000 Tacoma (2.4L) because I found it on the Denso website where it says so. It's an oxygen sensor and my original part was called "air fuel ratio sensor" and they are not interchangeable (google, "O2 sensor vs air fuel ratio sensor"). I need to order the correct part (234-9001 Denso). In the meantime, the time for feedback is running out. If I can't trust the original manufacturer, who can I trust? Don't trust the Denso website. Write down the partโ€ฆ

This $50 sensor saved us thousands of dollars. Read how.

After receiving thousands of reviews from a Toyota dealer that we needed a catalytic converter replacement, I decided to check the codes causing the check engine light to come on. He reported a malfunction of this sensor, which is located on the back of the catalytic converter. However, the code did not say that the oxygen sensor detected something wrong coming out of the catalytic converter. He reported that the heating coil in this oxygen sensor had failed. So we spent $50 instead ofโ€ฆ

works perfectly. see installation details

It was used in a 1999 4Runner, Non-California/Federal 4WD model. The Revain Parts Finder insisted that this was not suitable for my application, but the Denso Parts Finder got it right. Note that the cable is approximately 6 inches shorter than the stock O2 sensor cable and this difference requires some maneuvering to mat the connectors together on the output side of the transmission, not the driver's side where the factory Molex is located. Screwed on the sensor first to keep it clean andโ€ฆ

Downtime less than 4 months

Downtime less than 4 months and less than 2500 miles. Only 30 day return window so I guess that's my loss. UPDATE: I spoke to Denso customer service and discovered that the product warranty does not cover my purchase as Revain is not an authorized Denso dealer meaning they do not know where Revain sources this product so they cannot guarantee that it really is their product. However, after speaking to Revain's customer service, they agreed that I would return the item and receive a full refund.

No more "Check Engine " lights!

The dreaded "Check Engine" light on my truck came on. After checking the engine code using my BAFX OBD-II scanner previously purchased from Revain, I found that sensor 2 (the downstream oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter) in bank 2 had failed. I ordered this part and had it fixed in about 1 hour, spending most of the time loosening the rusty nuts. If doing this repair yourself, use plenty of PB Blaster and be careful not to loosen the mounting bolts on the exhaust pipe. I bought an 8mm

Solves the confusing 4Runner P0125 1999 control code.

My P0125 had a few puzzles. This trouble code describes a problem with the coolant temperature not being high enough for the blending algorithm to work. After replacing the thermostat and coolant temperature sensor with no solution, I continued my research. It turns out that P0125 also means the algorithm isn't getting along with the O2 sensor. Interestingly, there were no other codes. The next puzzle is what is this sensor? The decal on the bonnet says HO2S (2) meaning this car has two O2โ€ฆ

Crap Shoot O2 Sensor

Item arrived as described and fits perfectly. I installed it and am waiting to see if CEL comes back. I contacted Toyota and the original part number they gave me for the downstream (rear oxygen sensor for my 1999 4Runner (built after 09/98) was 89465-39855. When I checked this number against a Denso product, it was the number i was given is 234-4154 when i put this on the revain site it tells me it doesn't fit my 4runner the only alternative the toyota part for a non california car is 89465โ€ฆ

Feels like O2. Strangely enough, the project went awry. Felt like a man.

Item as advertised. There was no internet alternative procedure. Tired of being tricked by shady deals that something was wrong with my car, I decided to diagnose my "Check Engine" light myself. I drove to the auto zone, borrowed a small machine to read engine data and they told me to get an oxygen sensor. I have understood. BUT since I live on the east coast and my car is therefore a rusty bucket on wheels, one of the bolts on the exhaust pipe that this thing is attached to has come looseโ€ฆ
