Review on πŸš€ Denso 234-4162 Oxygen Sensor: Ensuring Optimal Engine Performance by Anthony Watkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Crap Shoot O2 Sensor

Item arrived as described and fits perfectly. I installed it and am waiting to see if CEL comes back. I contacted Toyota and the original part number they gave me for the downstream (rear oxygen sensor for my 1999 4Runner (built after 09/98) was 89465-39855. When I checked this number against a Denso product, it was the number i was given is 234-4154 when i put this on the revain site it tells me it doesn't fit my 4runner the only alternative the toyota part for a non california car is 89465 -39825 that fits Denso 234-4153 Revain talks about it fits my truck it's a bit crap because physically all 3 Denso products look the same including the fork configuration If the CEL light comes on again (and yes (I also replaced the front OME from Autonation with part discount Toyota) then I am returning the 234-4162 and swapping it for 234-4154 Stay tuned after a few weeks with this O2 probe and a full tank from CEL - So I don't need fuel e return assume that the sensor of this model and also works in 99 4Runner.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
