After receiving thousands of reviews from a Toyota dealer that we needed a catalytic converter replacement, I decided to check the codes causing the check engine light to come on. He reported a malfunction of this sensor, which is located on the back of the catalytic converter. However, the code did not say that the oxygen sensor detected something wrong coming out of the catalytic converter. He reported that the heating coil in this oxygen sensor had failed. So we spent $50 instead of thousands and bingo! The check engine light went out and the truck passed the MOT. Double check your issue folks. Dealers make mistakes too.
