I am sad to have to leave a bad review for this very cute bike that my daughter loves. You would think that an expensive Shwinn bike would run without problems, but that's not the case. We bought it on 07/04/2019. We paid for professional assembly at our local Dick shop. We figured better safe than sorry, so $60 was worth it for someone who works all day to build this beautiful bike. By the end of the summer, the chain continued to weaken. I had to constantly fix it. Winter is over and now that spring is here it seems we still have all 5 pedals to repair the chain. After reading some reviews we too had the same problem with bad drawer bearings and a loose chain. Not to mention weak brakes. The manufacturer really needs to rethink their craft because these are our children! We want them to be safe and as parents we want the best bang for our buck! We would not have had this bike for almost 2 months and unfortunately missed the return date. I urge the company to contact us and replace our kids bikes.
