Review on πŸ–₯️ Dell 34" Curved Monitor with 3440X1440 Resolution, Anti-Glare Screen, Tilt Adjustment, and Flicker-Free Technology by Sean Wells

LOVE this monitor - BUT - Laptop is recognized as an audio device with no speakers

The good news first: I received this monitor on Prime Day after LOTS of research - reviews here, articles online (PC Mag, CNET etc) and YouTube videos viewed. I use it for work (business analyst) and graphic design (hobby). It's basically like having two monitors in one, and the colour, clarity, response time and flexibility of the display was a huge improvement over what I had to put up with (the 32-inch Westinghouse TV). Bad news: I'm removing a star. b/c Somewhere along the way I was convinced that this monitor has speakers and the menus and settings lead you down that path too. Sorry guys, this monitor doesn't have speakers :(. Speakers, I take full blame for that assumption. HOWEVER - my laptop auto-detected the monitor as an audio output device, made it the default audio device AND there are audio controls in the monitor menu so I was SUPER excited for a minute! After a quick chat with Dell customer support, unfortunately they confirmed the monitor had no speakers. It looks like I'm going to add two monitors to my workspace with one. Plus, the extra screen real estate in the Full screen mode has greatly reduced the need for scrolling in spreadsheets and design programs.
