SMR is bullshit. on Computers & Accessories
I'm trying to create a Linux filesystem on a 3 partition with 4 x 512GB drives and it's ridiculously slow. i am disgusted I will never buy an SMR drive again. Note: Manufacturers will NOT tell YOU it is SMR; You have to guess it by the cache size. Little did I know that anything over 1TB on these drives would be a JOKE.
