I bought this because I needed a dry place to store my bike. I've seen other similar tents in the same price range with terrible reviews. They were too thin and broke easily. I chose this model because of the silver insulation. I thought it would be better to fight the elements. I WAS RIGHT! I live in Houston, Texas and we just had a historic ice storm, although it's CONTINUED here! It was there for the fullness of the storm and it was PERFECT! It had snow, rain and sleet and it didn't crack, didn't get water in and when I checked it was definitely warmer inside than outside. I was very impressed with this item. The ground in the immediate vicinity was also dry. My bike (which I LOVE) is perfect. I still have a few things in there. The spikes holding it went up (3 out of 4) BUT the tent stayed in place, they were right next to it and I hammered them back in. I highly recommend this product as the quality and price is PERFECT for someone who is willing to spend money but can't throw it away.
