Not the Pulley You're Looking For...

Okay, I have mixed feelings about this micro pulley. On the one hand, it's got all the bells and whistles you could want from a climbing pulley - CE UIAA certification, swing side plates, ball bearings, prusik minding design - it's practically a climbing gym in a pulley! On the other hand, it's not actually that great for climbing. The 23KN strength is decent, but I found the Swing Side Plates to be a bit too flimsy and they tended to get caught on my gear loops. And while the Ball Bearing is supposed to help with "smooth operation," I found it actually made it a bit harder to control the rope. That being said, I could see this pulley being useful for rescue, lifting, or ziplining - basically anything where you don't need to be super precise with your rope management. So, overall, it's not a bad product, just not the pulley you're looking for if you're serious about climbing.

Pros
  • Versatile Design: The swing side plates and ball bearings make this pulley ideal for a range of applications such as hitch tending or zip line use, in addition to climbing and lifting, making it a versatile tool for outdoor or industrial use
Cons
  • The 23KN strength may not be enough for some heavy-duty tasks, rendering the product useless in such situations.
