My rating is really 4.5 stars - (even) it seems slightly lower than the manufacturer deserves. But I can't give it a solid 5 either. This is due to two reasons listed below. Definitely I would recommend this product. There is nothing "critical" wrong with this that I could warn other customers about. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I feel it was a very good deal and those moldings and license plate restored my bumper to the factory look I was hoping for. Everything appears to be securely fastened with no risk of falling or breaking. a: The plastic is not as strong as that used in the original factory parts. It's a bit lighter and doesn't seem like it would withstand the same impact as the OEM. I won't go so far as to say that the pads are particularly fragile - it seems like they could at least hold up to the regular treatment I'll give them riding through woods, trails etc. But I do not think so . I think they will withstand a direct hit from a hard object at high speed. Frankly, given the asking price, this criticism may be unfounded; After all, we get what we pay for. I guess I'm just torn by the possible difference between the definitions of "protection" and "cosmetic". If the product description was "cosmetic pads" and not "safety pads" I wouldn't mention it here. Cosmetically absolutely top.b: The fit is precise, but not quite perfect. I really needed to snap the opposite corners into place; and even after that, narrow gaps remain between the panel and the bumper surface. The gap dimensions are not noticeable from a practical distance. I would expect the (summer) heat to soften the plastic enough that they would eventually fit and fit the bumper perfectly. And perhaps, even in this case, to be fair, a small imperfection in the setup can contribute to a secure placement - so maybe for the better, not the worse.
