My therapist put Jobst stockings on me, but they leaked if you looked at them sideways, constantly wore a hole in the heel after a few months, just came out screaming "disabled tan". and costs almost $70 per pair before shipping. The durable yarn holds up well to washing and wear and won't flow! I haven't stuck my finger through them yet while putting them on. Heels remain intact! Black and white knee-highs also look "normal" in shorts (tricked sister friend). They fit exactly. They FEEL fantastic. Bonus: Sizing and compression are permanently imprinted in the top band (don't mix up different pairs when washing). BEST OF ALL: Although the CompressionZ looks more durable, I can buy three pairs for less than a pair from another brand! Never wash a pair while wearing another again. I've stored enough for several days (and I can machine wash them on a gentle cycle with no problem). The only complaint (and there really isn't much of it) is that the stockings originally prescribed were medium sized, but I found I had to purchase the XLarge CompressionZ which seem to be sized only by the length between the heel and the size Knee. I can't measure the compression, of course, but they feel as tight as prescription stockings and unlike the expensive originals, they don't seem to have stretched at all in months. No more holes in your heels!
