I typically wear size medium in tops and that's the size I ordered in these as well. I wear a 34DD bra and the shelf bra fits me well and the bottom is a little loose around my stomach. I don't think the size chart is accurate because my waist is not as small as indicated for a size medium. They are very soft and so comfortable. I only wear them around the house, but they are supportive enough for that. I don't wear them for exercise or outside of my house, but I do sleep in them. I like them much better than tank tops with spaghetti straps that half shelf bras. These don't dig in at all. I highly recommend you try them. They worked well for me and I plan to buy them in more colors.
