Review on Cat Mate Locking Flap White by Katie Cordeiro

Looks like a solid cat hatch. I installed it in an interior wall - standard 1/2" drywall with 2x4" frames. I used two 2x4" boards in the wall on the sides to provide a support plate for the frame to screw on (you can see the uncovered screw holes in my picture of where I attached the frame boards). You will also need *2* Cat Mate Wall liner to close the gap in the wall. No cutting was required on the wall panels - two of them provided exactly 4" of coverage. The door itself is well built, has nice flap shading and the latching mechanism is very flexible when You need to prevent entry or exit My only complaint about the door is that one side of the door is a big hole into nowhere in your wall - fine if you're giving your cat access to the closet, but less cool if both sides Interiors are I want to make a fabric curtain for the open side of the door.
