Let's face it. OEM ink is not cheap. But OEM ink won't ruin your printer. cheap "compatible" inks. I don't get paid to work on myself so I use the Real Deal. It was a few dollars cheaper than a major office retailer and was parked outside my door. Every ink is a cash cow for the manufacturer, no matter what brand of printer you own. Go shopping and get a good deal. It was a good deal. Pay extra for OEM ink and avoid my bill. I'm not coming at a bargain price, especially considering the crown. Printers are a PAIN. And a tip: If you rarely use your printer, print out a test page once or twice a week. sorry geeks I have Canon photo printers for photography but Brother is my workhorse. . Work orders, letters, quick photo prints are a breeze. And they work on Linux. Others don't.
