Review on ๐Ÿ’พ SAMSUNG 970 EVO SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology, Black/Red by Dimitar Arnaudov แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

Samsung has released other SSDs before this one. Additionally, I own a few of this manufacturer's NVME SSDs from both the Evo and Pro models. Additionally, the knowledge gained by using numerous office computers for business purposes (not only this type). There are no issues; everything is OK for them. Here is the outcome of a Linux linear read and write test on a single thread with a 1MB block size in terms of speed: Sergey at workstation10240+0 entries received 10240+0 records sent 10737418240 bytes (11 GB, 10 GiB) copied, 3.72489 s, 2.9 GB/s; $ dd if=/dev/zero of=./test. Img bs=1M count=10240 oflag=direct; Sergey at workstation/proc/sys/vm/drop_caches 3 | echo 3 Sergey at workstation10737418240 bytes (11 GB, 10 GiB) copied in 3.54131 seconds at a speed of 3.0 GB/s. $ dd if=./test. Img of=/dev/null bs=1M iflag=direct 10240+0 entries received 10240+0 records sent 2.9 GB/s of recording and 3.0 GB/s of reading. It occupies around a third of the SSD.

Pros
  • rapidity, dependability, and predictability.
Cons
  • Price is not significantly higher than other deals, but I can't claim that it is. A tad bit better than normal.
