Heavy and warm bedding

I understand the concept of weighted comforters and they can be very cozy. BUT, if you're going through menopause and have hot flashes, this might be the last thing you need lol. I bought this particular blanket because it was supposed to "cool". Well, there's nothing deterrent about a weighted blanket when a hot flash hits you. I spend most of the night throwing off the duvet and then putting it back on :-/.
