I'll start by saying that this would be a five star rating (due to the good quality of the product) if it weren't for the trouble of finding the right one-size-fits-all. I first bought the size 9-11" since my dog's neck is 10.5". However, as you can see in the photo, an extra 2.5 inches stuck out when I put the collar on to fit my dog. The loop is useless as it isn't attached to the collar so it slips without helping as the extra 2.5 inches of collar just hangs. My dog immediately tried to grab the excess skin and chew on it. Then I ordered the same collar, just one size smaller (7-8 inches). And unfortunately too small. Size 7-8 inch is too small for my dog. So if your dog's neck falls into this category and is around 10.5-11 inches then I would say you won't be able to find the right size as a 7-8 inch collar would be too short but one size larger 9 -11 inches. will be too long with about 2.5 inches of excess skin. I think that unfortunately I have to return both collars (size 7-8" and size 9-11"), because neither of them fit Michiwin (size-wise, the smaller size is too short and the larger size is too long). It's a shame because I really liked the look and quality of this collar and the price is attractive.
