June 15 update; Sliding covers keep falling off and are hard to find. Peeling off a broken one and wiping off residue is no problem, but my devices have a protective film. They got here quickly (unlike some of the other cheaper ones I ordered that never arrived they got watch straps instead). They're flimsy but work well, and even if they fall apart, if you can find the lid, they can be put back together. Haven't shot one yet, but it doesn't look like that's a problem. On the iPad and iPhone, they work as they should. Gravity helps. Eliminates my senseless paranoia, so that's good.
