They are functional. They have a smell that we don't like. Unfortunately the ink is running out. We still use and develop them. We're just trying to balance the way they run and smear. Not sure I would order again but knowing how they work I might use them for some projects. The packaging states that these inks are suitable for certain fabrics, but initially we found that they were suitable for any fabric. Then we heat with an iron, but still transfer. So we fixed the ink between two sheets of parchment and it worked better. but after the first wash we still saw walking around and transplanting 100% cotton. On the neoprene blend and knit layers, the colors faded with washing. We have tried longer drying, sun exposure and heat (hot air from ironing can melt the synthetic fabric/neoprene). Still working. Luckily we think it looks cool so nothing gets spoiled. We also noticed dramatic fading after a single wash. So it's ok. Some markers work better. We have it with prolonged drying, Exposure to direct sunlight and heat (hot air from ironing can melt the synthetic fabric/neoprene). Still working.
