Not a very good solution.
As others have said, this thing bounces like crazy. Stretching doesn't help. It also sags slowly when riding and I have to constantly push it up. Bought two, one for each car. Glad you did! One of these broke off during installation and since it was so bouncy anyway I decided to just use the original suction cup mount on this car which is MUCH better. In retrospect I wouldn't buy it. It will work for now, but I regret my purchase.
