containers received 3 stars for wrong size. They hold 32 ounces, not 40 as advertised. If you fill to the brim you can get 40 oz in the overflow stage. However, when you freeze food, you should leave 1 inch between the food and the lid because wet things expand when they freeze. If you overfill the container, the lid will break.
