Excellent resolution, does not support serial HDMI connection

The 4K resolution is excellent. It's as good, if not better, than the Mac Thunderbolt monitors they replace for me. Very happy about that. The coasters are stronger and sturdier than I thought they would be and they actually look better than the photos. As some other reviews indicate, they are very bright. You need to soften them. I also opted for a standing viewing angle, which seems to bring the brightness and contrast pretty close to what I consider normal for office work. Contrary to one of the questions and answers, it doesn't support HDMI as far as I can tell. garland chain. Both HDMI ports are inputs to support PIP from two HDMI sources. PIP can use an HDMI port and a Display port. I've tried all combinations to use them and the display port as inputs and outputs. None of them work as a way out. If there is a menu setting to enable the HDMI serial connection, I don't see it, nor do I see it in the user manual. Luckily I have a docking station with two HDMI outputs. So far this is my only complaint. For that money I can do without it.
