The Samsung UE570 is a 28-inch 4K UHD monitor with AMD FreeSync technology for a 1ms response time. It has two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort connector, giving you plenty of options. I say that because this large monitor offers a nice picture-in-picture (aka picture-in-picture) mode to increase your enjoyment or multitasking needs. From a personal point of view, I have never owned such a large and sharp monitor. I bought a 27 inch monitor from another company earlier this year and the difference was amazing. I've done everything with it from streaming 4K video to gaming and productivity tools and it's been great. I even did things at the same time and it held up by itself. Until now I didn't realize how good it would be to have a 4K monitor. Now it is the main element of my home computer. I use 20", 27" and 28" monitors connected to PC and laptop. After heavy use I really only have a few minor issues with it. First is the stand. It's quite big and juts out a bit more back and forth than say a square platform stand. It's difficult to place on a table due to the width. It also doesn't rotate or move up or down. Although it does tilt. I'll probably mount it at some point to this one Problem to alleviate. Next is the settings management. It took a while but I finally got used to the "joystick controller" which can do everything. I would have liked a few separate buttons for easier maneuverability. The last are the connectors right in the middle of the back of the monitor. If your cables aren't longer, or you don't have an extension cord, your placement is limited.Curiousest of all is the headphone jack axis. You will definitely need a longer cable for this. There are a few other things that should be on the wish list to make this monitor perfect, but they don't break the deal. Things like a smaller bezel and controls/buttons on the front. Overall, the Samsung UE570 is an excellent monitor. It performed well in heavy gaming, broadcasting sports, and watching movies. It may not be specifically designed for these tasks, but it can certainly get the job done. After playing around with it, I might need a second one to even things out. I encourage others to consider doing the same.
