These were my first padded cycling shorts. In general, I like them very much. I really wish they had a better way of figuring out what size to get. I think gaining weight can help, not just waist and hip size. Not all of us have big hips and small waists. I ordered a large as I thought the smaller size might be too small for my waist but I think I probably should have ordered a smaller size. I'm 4'11" and 140. I don't know if that will help anyone figuring out my size. I love the design of the pants. a zip pocket on the waistband that might come in handy.
