I'm pretty sure they were advertised as pads, but they aren't. Lightweight rubber cover.
I like the feel, it feels cool most of the time but while it tends to stay in place there's nothing holding it there. It helps, however the feel of the headset is a little high for the price in my opinion. I just don't want to give them back.
