This is just a replacement for an older one that lasted 6 (yes, SIX) years and started to squeak lol. Anyway, it's still a very slow and loud beast, but it gets the job done! I don't know about 6 leaves because I don't even think you could get that many leaves in a very small slot. The company that sells this is superb and even took care of shipping before it was shipped. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that it's nowhere near as good as many other more expensive shredders, so keep that in mind.
