Recently bought this vertical fruit and vegetable peeler for my mother because she lost her old one. We were afraid she wouldn't like it at first because her old one was actually Y-shaped, not vertical. She took it home anyway to try it out and was surprised at how much she actually likes her new knife. Needless to say we are satisfied! Overall, this knife is very well made. It feels firm but not heavy. It has good clearance for the shells to fall out and not get stuck. Exfoliates well. Much better than their old plastic. She is happy, we are happy.
