Review on Tetra Whisper Repair Kit for 60 and 100 Air Pump - Durable and Efficient Solution by Kim Stanley

The Whisper 100 replacement kit is fairly easy to install although the kit includes a round felt pad which I had a bit of a hard time figuring out where it went as there was no visible felt pad to replace. At first I was pleased with the performance of the air pump after installing the diaphragm, but within a week I noticed that only one of the pump's two outlets was producing air. I tried contacting the company and they answered my calls resulting in a "phone tag"; but as of this writing "the ball is in their favour". The cost of a new air pump isn't much more than a replacement kit so it's not value for money just yet, but it's also nice NOT to add volume to landfill so I guess that counts. Benefit side, separated from the costs. Incidentally, the removed parts can be used as a magnet; I hang one on the fridge to hang my tea towel; Guess what benefits this brings in addition to the costs! :)
