So I was drawn to this grip as it was advertised as having a 'dry feel' and maximum absorbency which I really like. My palms get very sweaty and this is made worse by the summer humidity so I always look for a good absorbent blanket. The price for these 12 packs was very good, so I decided to give it a try. First impression: The neon color is very bright and eye-catching. It looked greener in the picture, but in person it looked more like what neon yellow should be. Haptics: When I first touched the handle, the surface reminded me of one thing: craft foam. You know those thin sheets of Styrofoam that people use for crafts? It was EXACTLY like the surface of it. This is the first time I've felt such texture in my grip. It's quite dry but the surface is smooth. Even with a dry and absorbent finish, you still need a non-slip surface like the Tourna. This is smooth and porous. I'm sure there are people who would like it, but it's not for me. Installation: Installation is very easy. Both sides are tapered with glue, so it's very easy. It was too short to fully wrap around the grip of my standard length racquet. I use a larger grip than usual, so your mileage may vary. Stretching can help. The packaging is great and the service is great and the price is great. If only the grip itself didn't look so cheap, it could become serious competition to the big names. Alright, back to the hunt.
