Good product. Well made, durable. I have an oval strainer that I have used for years and love, but this strainer is much better for making pasta and straining broccoli and other veggies. I need to froth the colander as soon as possible so the pasta starch doesn't dry out or become difficult to remove. Bellemain is ideal for pasta and other vegetables. It's smooth inside and out and I didn't find any rough edges in the screen. Cleans very well. I use it almost every day and have had no complaints so far. I like the size and appreciate the lifting handles. I would recommend it and have a colander handy too. The first photo is of raw quinoa and as mentioned the holes are too big, but I haven't tried draining cooked quinoa. Raw rice failed. The second photo shows raw barley and there were no problems with Orzo either.
