🥘 Efficient 5-Quart Stainless Steel Colander - Dishwasher Safe & Micro-Perforated: Bellemain Review

Product specs say it's 'for life' - it's not. Recently one of my handles fell off. When I asked the company for help solving the problem, they suggested I put the pen back. The? I would go with another company behind their products.

I liked this sieve so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I didn't know what the difference was, but it drains a lot easier than my old OXO plastic strainer and is easier to clean. OXO goes to a flea market and I believe. Update October 24, 2015: The more I use this strainer, the more I like it. It holds up well and is strong. It was an excellent sieve while it lasted. Unfortunately, one of the handles fell off after a year and is therefore out of the guarantee. We always clean by hand. We never put it in the dishwasher. Wow, you can't describe this sieve. There are several things in my life that make my life complete. Wife and kids, my home and now this sieve. From being perfectly round to having as many holes as there are stars in the sky, it really is perfection. If I have something that needs water for, but not for long, I'll go straight to the safe and pull out this calendar. The way water flows through the holes is truly magical. Good product. Well made, durable. I have an oval strainer that I have used for years and love, but this strainer is much better for making pasta and straining broccoli and other veggies. I bought this screen despite the terribly difficult problems some reviewers seem to be having.1. Knowing that the drained water collects around a solid base and can't go down the sink drain, I just move the strainer away from the sink to allow the water to run down the drain.
